This Nepali paper is made from the pith
(spongy white tissue in thestem and branches of plants)
of an oriental tree and hence is called "lokta paper".
It's very popular in the world as no environmental
hazards are involved in leading to the process of
prodution of this paper. Lokta is grown at an altitude of
2,600 to 4,000meters in the foothills of the
serene himalayan mountainous region.
